COMPREHENSIVE SPINE CARE

Comprehensive spine care is begins with chiropractic mobilization. This instrument is used to restore normal function to problematic joints in the body. After a thorough history and examination our doctors will evaluate their findings to determine if you are a good candidate for care.  This process includes determining which type of treatment would be most complimentary to your specific needs. The area of joint dysfunction is identified and mobilized to increase motion and circulation. The adjustment stimulates a specific bed of sensory receptors that inhibit the feeling of pain as well as providing mobility to the joint. This allows surrounding tissues to rehabilitate in conjunction with neuromuscular training and reeducation. Soft tissue therapy in combination with modalities such as traction, TENS, and cryotherapy, (diathermy) are also used. These methods have be shown to be highly effective in decreasing pain and improving flexibility.

BODILY INJURY

Our office is uniquely designed to offer the best comprehensive treatment available to those suffering injury from care accidents. We have a seamless system in place to eliminate the hassle and paperwork associated with bodily injury cases. We will help give you all the tools you need to get you feeling better, fast with our spine specialists.

NON-SURGICAL SPINAL DECOMPRESSION

Non-surgical spinal decompression is a program developed specifically for those who have been diagnosed with a disc bulge, disc tear, and/or acute/chronic neck and low back pain. Disc dysfunction and facet joint irritation can cause an array of symptoms such as low back pain that travels into the legs, burning, swelling, sciatica, etc. In the neck, there may be numbness or tingling in to the hands. The doctors uses a special table to allow for an increase in motion to the targeted facet and disc to create a vacuum like phenomenon to increase fluid back into the disc, thus allowing the herniation/bulge to re assume its normal position while hydrating and providing essential nutrients to repair the tear. This program is also an excellent choice in considering alternative options prior to spinal surgery, as  well as post surgery maintenance. Not only is it safe, it is gently and relaxing. Each session lasts typically 20-30 minutes. This program usually runs 6 to 8 weeks with most schedules being 2 visits per week or 20 visits total.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

Our doctors are boards certified to perform physical therapy in the office to complement and enhance the treatment given to promote long lasting results. In the event a more rigorous program is needed, we will coordinate care and refer to a skilled physical therapist. Therapies offered on site include but are not limited to:

  • Scoliosis program to treat curvature of the spine
  • Manual therapy, which uses the massage and manipulation of the body's soft tissues to relieve pain and promote healing.
  • Preparing the body before orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation after surgery
  • General strength training
  • Rehabilitation after a bone fracture
  • Rehabilitation after a back or neck injury
  • Rehabilitation after a sports injury
  • Comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluation to determine the cause of and best treatment for acute or chronic pain

WORKPLACE ERGONOMIC TRAINING
